Head of BPS Pemalang Regency, Teguh Iman Santoso, visited the Pemalang Regency Agriculture Service and was personally received by the Head of Service, Prayitno, S.Hut, M.M. in the office of the head of the service on Friday (11/10).
The visit was carried out in order to discuss efforts to improve the quality of agricultural statistical data. This activity aims to synergize agricultural data and information produced by the two institutions, so that it can produce more accurate, relevant, and up-to-date data.
In the discussion, various matters related to strengthening agricultural statistical data were discussed, including Increasing the capacity of officers, Strengthening the capacity of agricultural statistics officers must continue to be carried out to improve competence in collecting, processing, and analyzing data.
In addition, in every implementation of statistical activities, BPS hopes that all statistical activities carried out by OPDs will submit recommendations for statistical activities, so that BPS can provide suggestions and input on the design of statistical activities organized by OPDs so that they meet Statistical Data Standards.
Teguh Iman Santoso stated that cooperation between BPS and the Pemalang Regency Agriculture Service is very important to be able to produce quality agricultural statistical data, which reflects real conditions in the field.
