Monitoring and Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation

The Pemalang Regency One Data Indonesia Forum (SDI) Secretariat carried out Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics in 2024 at Gatra Kencana Bojongnangka Pemalang on Thursday (17/10).

The activity was opened by the Head of the Communication and Informatics Service, Joko Ngatmo, as data guardian, with the direction that SDI implementation could be further improved both in terms of quantity of data provision and quality of data implementation so that it could improve the assessment of the Statistical Development Index (IPS) and SPBE, and ultimately be able to compete with other districts in their achievements.

In this event, the Head of Statistics Pemalang Regency, Teguh Iman Santoso presented material on the Principle of One Indonesian Data. The background and motivation for implementing SDI was conveyed by Teguh Iman. Apart from that, the urgency of statistical recommendations and the submission of Metadata by OPD is also emphasized to continue to be fulfilled so that the principle of one Indonesian data can be more easily fulfilled in the implementation of sectoral statistics in Pemalang Regency.

Dwi Puji Astuti, Head of Rendalev Bappeda, representing the SDI Secretariat, delivered an evaluation of the implementation of SDI in Pemalang and hoped that OPD could actively fulfill data needs and carry out sectoral statistical activities well in accordance with SDI principles.

The event ended with a presentation of developments an integrated data portal for Pemalang Regency. OPD data managers are given material on how to enter data into the portal.
