Abstract

Extensive rice harvest in Jawa tengah from January to September 2018 amounting to 1.54 million hectares. Taking into account potential until December 2018, the harvested area in 2018 is 1.68 million hectares.
Rice production in Jawa tengah for the period January-September 2018 amounting to 8.75 million tons of dry milled rice (MPD). Based on production potential until December 2018, it is estimated Total rice production in 2018 is 9.51 million tons of GKG.
If rice production is converted into rice with using the number of MPD conversion to rice in 2018, then rice production is equivalent to 5.44 million tons of rice.
