Sectoral Statistics Development Visit

Starting Wednesday, March 20 to Tuesday, April 2 2024, BPS Pemalang Regency will participate in Sectoral Statistics Development Visitation activities at 21 (twenty-one) Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Pemalang Regency. The visitation presented several resource persons from BPS, resource persons from the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) as data guardian, as well as resource persons from the Regional Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) of Pemalang Regency.

On the first day of the visit, visitations were carried out at the National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) and the Fisheries Service (Disperik) of Pemalang Regency. The visit discussed the importance of data, the Satu Data Pemalang portal, submission of statistical recommendations, as well as statistical metadata on the Indah portal.

In 2024, Bakesbangpol and the Pemalang Regency Disperik were selected as the two OPDs proposed to be assessed in the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) activity. The visit also discussed what supporting evidence needed to be prepared so that the EPSS assessment could run optimally.
