Tuesday Gets More Classy with the theme "Poverty in Pemalang Regency 2023"

On Tuesday (03/12), the Tuesday Makin Berkelas (Internal Media Consolidation for Sharing Skills and Experiences of Statisticians) activity was held again with the theme of Poverty in Pemalang Regency 2023.

The knowledge-sharing session this afternoon was delivered by Karimah Saharani, focusing on the poverty rate calculation results in Pemalang Regency for the year 2023. The poverty rate in Pemalang Regency in 2023 is higher among residents who belong to the non-productive age group, have low education, are unemployed, or work in the informal sector.

As a closing remark, the Head of Statistics of Pemalang Regency, Teguh Iman Santoso, advised the staff to always learn and understand the meaning of the macroeconomic indicators produced by the BPS as an implementation of BerAKHLAK in the daily statistical activities.
