In order to prepare for the Quarterly Micro Small Industry (IMK) Survey activities, the Pemalang Regency BPS held a staff briefing on Friday (3/1). The Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey is conducted with the aim of understanding the growth and profile of the micro and small industry sector in general, with a quarterly time reference. The Quarterly MSME Survey is a business data collection activity conducted with samples of micro and small-scale businesses and industries that employ between 1 to 4 people (Micro Industries) and 5 to 19 people (Small Industries).

The briefing material for the officers was delivered by Dwi Cahyadi, Junior Expert Functional Statistician at BPS Pemalang Regency, and Achmad Salam, First Functional Computer Officer at BPS Pemalang Regency. The number of participants attending the briefing was 26 people, of which 18 were Field Enumerators (PCL) who are partners of the Pemalang Regency BPS, and 7 were Field Supervisors (PML) who are employees of the Pemalang Regency BPS.

The briefing activity concluded with remarks from the Head of Statistics of Pemalang Regency, Teguh Iman Santoso. In his remarks, Teguh conveyed that the officers should always be meticulous, objective, and high-quality in carrying out this data collection. It is hoped that through this briefing, the data produced will be accurate and of high quality in order to develop the Micro Small Industry in Indonesia, especially in Pemalang Regency.
