Abstract

• September 2019 in Jawa Tengah there was deflation of 0.24 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 135.81. Deflation in Jawa Tengah occurred in all cities of SBH
• The calendar year inflation rate is 2.13 percent and the year-on-year (September 2019 to September 2018) inflation rate is 3.13 percent.
The main cause of deflation in Jawa tengah in September 2019 was the decrease in the the price of red chili, shallots, purebred chicken, eggs and cayenne peppers. Defining the rate of deflation is the rising cost of academies / colleges, gold jewelery, rice, noodles and oranges
