Preparation for Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) in 2024

Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) is the only complete village-level data collection carried out by BPS. Data from Podes data collection is able to describe the potential of a region at the village, sub-district and district levels throughout Indonesia. Podes data can be used by various parties who need it. In line with developments over time, the need for regional data and information down to the smallest areas is felt to be increasingly diverse and urgent to be met.

Prior to the implementation of the 2024 Podes data collection field, Wednesday 17 April 2024, BPS Pemalang Regency held a preparatory meeting for Podes data collection involving all BPS Pemalang Regency employees. In this meeting, workload allocation, planned training schedules, and Podes pre-data collection activities were discussed.

Starting from the implementation of the 2024 Podes data collection, pre-data collection data will be submitted to all villages/sub-districts containing data from the results of the 2021 Podes data collection and applications for filling in 2024 condition data. This aims to help field implementation run effectively, efficiently and on time so that It is hoped that it will produce quality data. Podes pre-data collection activities will take place from 18 - 23 April 2023 involving all BPS Pemalang Regency employees.
