The BPS-Statistics of Pemalang today, Thursday 16 May 2024, held training for officers who will carry out field data collection in the 2024 Market Directory Updating program. This training was held at the BPS-Statistics of Pemalang's office and was attended by twelve enumerators and four people. field supervisory officers, who have been selected to carry out market data collection in the area.
Chief Statistics of Pemalang Regency, Mohammad Fatichuddin, in the BPS-Statistics of Pemalang's office hall, officially opened the training which lasted for one full day. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of careful consideration in recording respondents' answers compared to the surrounding conditions. It was also added that this activity aims to update information regarding the characteristics and activities of the market economy in Pemalang Regency.
This training is designed to prepare officers to face various situations in the field. The training material includes interview techniques, use of data collection tools, and the ethics of interacting with respondents. Officers are taught to always maintain a professional attitude and be friendly so that respondents feel comfortable and open when being interviewed.
Mohammad Fatichuddin also reminded officers to always maintain health and safety during the data collection process. Because health is the main factor that really supports the implementation of an activity.
With this training, it is hoped that officers can produce high quality data that can be used to plan investment directions in Pemalang Regency. The 2024 Market Directory data collection is an important step in mapping the economic potential in Pemalang Regency and its surroundings.
